
VYPE got to sit down with Brayden Myovela of Maize boys basketball and find out more about him.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for the year are having my team go far in the season and making 1st team.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I’ve had this year was football season. That team made a lot of memories and we grew a lot as a team by the end of the season.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher is my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Williamson. She actually taught me real life things I still use today and supports me in my sports still.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory was when my club basketball team got ranked 4th in the nation.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
My teammate Jaeden Martin left the biggest impression on me. He is a hard worker and very underrated.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part of being on the basketball team is my teammates. We have a good bond and it’s great being around them.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
Probably Bora Bora, and I would take my family.
VYPE: If we gave you $1,000 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would probably buy some shoes then save the rest.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
Not right now.
